You have the freedom to explore WeeklyStory's basic features without creating an account. No personal information required—just download and start learning immediately.

When you're ready, creating an account unlocks powerful features like syncing your learning progress and subscription status across all your devices.
Your account is flexible: provide your name if you'd like, or keep it minimal. You can delete your account anytime, and all related data will be permanently removed.

Register with as much or as little information as you choose. Your name is optional—we respect your preference for anonymity.
Delete Account
Full control means the ability to leave. Delete your account anytime directly in the app, and all associated data is permanently removed from our systems.
Sign Out
Sign out whenever you need to. Your local learning data stays on your device, so you can continue where you left off when you sign back in.

Device Tokens
We collect device tokens to enable push notifications, helping you stay updated with new content and learning reminders. This happens even without login for anonymous notifications.

Your Control
Don't want notifications? Simply turn off push notification permissions in your device settings at any time. You remain in complete control of what information reaches you.
Push Notification Management
Flexible Notification Settings
WeeklyStory requests notification permission when you first launch the app. You can change your mind anytime through iOS settings—go to Settings → Notifications → WeeklyStory to customize your preferences.
We send helpful notifications about new content and learning reminders, but you decide what you want to receive. Future versions will include even more granular in-app notification controls.

Subscription Privacy

Linked Subscriptions
When logged in, your subscription status syncs with your account, enabling seamless access across all your devices—iPhone, iPad, and more.

Anonymous Subscriptions
You can purchase subscriptions without logging in. The subscription works on your current device, but won't sync across multiple devices without an account.

Apple Management
All subscription management flows through Apple's secure system. Cancel, modify, or restore purchases directly in Apple Settings—you maintain full control.
Data Deletion Options
Delete Your Account
Navigate to your Profile page in the app and select the delete account option. This action permanently removes your account information, learning progress, and subscription associations from our systems.
Please note that Apple's subscription records may be retained as required by law, but this is handled entirely by Apple according to their policies.
Clear Local Data
Deleting the WeeklyStory app from your device removes all local data stored on that device. If you reinstall without logging in, previous local data cannot be restored.
This gives you a fresh start whenever you need it, with no traces of previous activity.
Third-Party Services
Supabase
Purpose: Secure data storage and user authentication
What's Shared: Your account information and learning progress are stored in Supabase's secure infrastructure

Apple
Purpose: App distribution, subscription management, and payment processing
What's Shared: Subscription and payment information is handled directly by Apple's secure systems

Your Rights and Data Access
Access Your Data
View your account information anytime in the Profile page. Check your learning progress in the Library section, and review subscription status in Profile or Plans pages.
Update Information
Keep your account current by updating your name and preferences directly in the app. Learning progress updates automatically as you use WeeklyStory.
Export Your Data
While data export isn't currently available in the app, we're planning to add this feature in future versions. Need your data now? Contact us via email and we'll help you.
